3.1 changes:

  • Fixed several issues with the Sade and Eirronth scene
  • Resized Sade x Eirronth scene so that it would run on lower end systems. With this change we did add a small amount of blurriness to the scene. This was somewhat avoidable as we started with the wrong size. We will eventually fix this issue further down the line.
  • Resized Wistala sprite for better performance.
  • Added Sade and Eirronth scene to the gallery
  • Fixed a bug which enabled you to try transferring corruption to Shoshi a second time. (This route is not finished yet and should not be accessible)
  • Fixed a bug where talking to Eirronth after the introduction when you did not get his phone number would say he gave it to you but he would then not show up in your contacts

Well, it's finally here! I hate to say it but this update is incredibly small content wise. As many of you may know, the focus for this update was learning and implementing Live2D into the game. As such we have redone Wistalas clothed sprite to be Live2D and we have added one new scene that is entirely Live2D. Now there are a ton of quality of life and UI improvements that I've made but as for new content this update is very very small. (There's also a small chance that the game doesn't work on mobile anymore because of the Live2D, I honestly have no idea.)

Now, the scene animation is not perfect as of yet. This was my first time working with Live2D and Ari's first time working in Live2D so it took us a while to figure out what we were doing. The animations still have some flaws and I am aware of the big black box around the scene but I'm not sure how to remove it right now. Hopefully Ari can fix that when she has a chance.

Additionally, I was under the impression that I could sync audio with the animations directly in Live2D, this is either not the case or I'm not smart enough to figure out how to do it (both are equally as likely). I have put out a request for help in the developer only forums of f95 but as of right now I haven't gotten a response. If the audio turns out to be impossible to do so, the only options are to have very few sound effects associated with the animations, cancel the Live2D change entirely...or change the engine from Renpy to Unreal Engine, which I'm not super keen to do but is a possibility. I started this game's development in Renpy because I was a total amateur with no coding experience and Renpy was supposed to be easy. I feel as though I have learned enough that switching the game to Unreal would be challenging but certainly not impossible to do in a reasonable time while Ari is turning all the old art into Live2D. I'd really rather not but it's a possibility.

But, I will circle back to this discussion in a few days once we finish polishing up this animation with things we've learned and finalize it for this update. So, as usual you can find a full list of changes made below along with the download link for the game! I highly recommend taking some time to replay the intro so you can get a feel for the Live2D on the Wistala sprite right at the start of the game since all of this will go live in a poll soon enough.

  • Added new scene: Sade and Eirronth in the Serpents lair. Scene is guaranteed to activate the day after meeting Taz and Scylla for the first time. Upon viewing the scene for the first time it goes down to a 25% chance to be active each day. (Likely to change how this functions as more scenes are added.)
  • Added bonus dialogue at the start and end of Sade and Eirronth scene that plays if Lilly is in your party, you are in a cuckold relationship and you have already shared her with Vordruth.
  • Added the option to transfer corruption to Shoshi.
  • Animated all of Wistalas clothed sprites
  • Added the ability to get Eirronths number if you did not talk to him during the introduction. As well as a bit of bonus dialogue when speaking to him for the first time after the introduction.
  • Added the ability to teleport from the world map directly to Nadir. The current icon for this teleport is just a set of question marks. This is a temporary icon that is just not being used anywhere else.
  • Stat icons have now been condensed into a drop down menu so that they do not take up so much of the screen.
  • Added more details description mode for icons.
  • Added sound effects for hovering and clicking on many of the hud elements.
  • Updated the open world explanation (forgot to update it for the previous version so it is fixed now.)
  • Fixed a bug where Lilly would randomly appear when meeting Kara for the first time after the introduction when she was not in your party.
  • Fixed a bug that made the player unable to decline Karas offer after paying her 20000 to complete her strip show when meeting her for the first time after the introduction.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Lillys sprite to appear when she was not in your party after talking to Taz.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the stat icons to appear blurry
  • Fixed a bug that caused Lillys in party portrait to always show the portrait in the hovered state. Updated the hovered state of her portrait to be less blurry.
  • Fixed a bug from the previous version that caused a crash when succeeding to flirt with Juniper without Lilly in your party
  • Fixed a bug from the previous version when lowering the player Lust that would cause a crash.
  • Added randomizer to Lilly’s night time phone calls. There is now only a 50% chance she will call you and ask to come over if you go to sleep without her in your party.
  • Added option to change submissive or dominant player disposition when viewing Scyallas shower scene in the gallery
  • Reworked the writing of the rimjob scene with Lilly
